The regulations governing Paris taxis
The journey
fares are displayed on the meters inside the taxis.
The fares are governed by the regulations in force. The fares depend
on the zone, the distance covered in kilometres, the time, and the
speed of the taxi.
Extra charges are applicable under very clearly defined circumstances.
Taxis Bleus cannot be held responsible for bad traffic conditions
and situations which may result from these.

Paris Zone : Paris, including the "boulevard
périphérique" (orbital ring road). ("Département"

Suburb Zone : The Hauts-de-Seine ("Département"
92), the Seine-Saint-Denis ("Département" 93),
and the Val-de-Marne ("Département" 94) .
Beyond the suburban zone: All the other "départements"
(namely, 78, 77, 91, 95), and the provinces.
The servicing of Orly airport, Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airport,
and the Parc des Expositions de Villepinte is charged at RATE B
or RATE C, depending on the hour.
EXTRA CHARGES
S.N.C.F. RAILWAY STATIONS : pick-up charge
is increased by 0,70 € at special signposted areas.
TRANSPORT OF A FOURTH ADULT PASSENGER : 2.60 €
TRANSPORT OF A DOMESTIC ANIMAL : 0,60 €
LUGGAGE : Suitcase or parcel weighing more than 5 kilos : 0,90
€ per item.
When a taxi is called through a kiosk or a radio switchboard,
the cost of the taxi's drive to the pick-up address (pick-up journey)
is added to the cost of the client's journey.
The taxi cannot ask for compensation charges to pay for its return.
Should the passenger request it, the driver must supply a copy
of the current taxi rates, specifying what rates should be applied
and containing extracts from the regulations.

When the taxi
has been ordered through Taxis Bleus, in the event of dispute you

For short distance trips, the pick-up charge can be increased to
a maximum of 5,10 €, on condition that the total cost of the
trip does not exceed 5,10 €.
